Chelsea Wolfe’s Unknown Rooms: A Collection of Acoustic Songs is set for a October 16th release date via Sargent House. We’ve already heard “Sunstorm”, the LP’s closing track, and today we get to fall in love with “Appalachia”. “Appalachia” may be a bit less driving than “Sunstorm”, yet Wolfe’s soulful haunted vocals will still manage to raise those tiny hairs on the back of your neck. I’m pretty in love with the simplistic instrumentation on these two tracks. The addition of violin really drives the final nail into the coffin of Wolfe’s dreary aesthetic. I am really looking forward to this LP.
