It’s been a little while since we’ve heard from indie-pop jammers Guards. Today we get to grace our ear holes on “Silver Lining”, an insanely glistening pop track off the bands forthcoming LP In Guards We Trust (Available 2.5.13 via Black Bell Records/Velvet Vision). Check out the artwork for the track below, that’s what I would I imagine I would be doing while “Silver Lining” soundtracked my day. Are there any sharks in that water? Hell no! the only inhabitants of that lake are Swedish Fish candies that swim straight into your mouth. Oh yeah, and that’s not water in that lake, it’s lemonade mixed with ice tea (Arnold Palmer). There are also sandwich suplies on that boat (Not pictured). “Silver Lining” is a perfect pop song and I’m loving it.
