Marching Church is the solo project of Elias Bender Rønnenfelt, the mastermind behind Denmark punkers Iceage and electro-punk-industrial (Or whatever you want to call it) outfit VÅR. Danish experimental label Posh Isolation is set to release the the projects upcoming 7″, the follow up to Marching Church’s 2010 tape At Night. Posh Isolation themselves call the project “blood drenched music carved from the chest of the young craftsman.” and upon first listen to the 7″‘s A-side “Throughout the Borders” this statement rings all to true. I’m liking this track a lot, it really showcases Rønnenfelt’s abilities as a songwriter and not just a wild punk frontman. Fingers crossed for a full LP sometime in the not too distant future. Stream “Throughout the Borders” below.
