ERAS is an experimental electronic project based in Los Angeles spearheaded by producer Nathaniel Eras. We’ve been following Eras for quite some time now and are always amazed by his output. A quick listen in chronological order starting at Eras’ 2011 Diamond Shaped EP up to his most recent Portals LP show a hastening natural progression that is hard to ignore. “Taxa” as a track, is a perfect example of this. Straying slightly from the more atmospheric ambient soundscapes that we have come to love from this project and venturing into a more complex driving pop realm that would perfectly sountrack a really good acid trip. The video, directed by Andrew Bikichky, sits atop the track perfectly and is more of a visual accompaniment to the track than a standard music video.
