NYC rap queen Mykki Blanco dropped the absolute BANGER of a track that is “Haze.Boogie.Life” the other day, and now we have visuals. And, well, the music video is very bizarre. The video is bizarre in the way that sits somewhere between full blown weird, and ‘shocking.’ It’s very subtle in a way. But it’s not like anything overly bizarre happens throughout the video and yet it has the ability to make you feel sticky, which, maybe was the intension. If so, they nailed it. I mean, I’m a pretty open minded individual, but some sort of self-preservation gear within me gets switched on when confronted with a fabulously skinny cross-dressing rap queen that would also be most delighted to kill me with a baseball bat if I lipped off.
