Portland, Oregon’s Brainstorm have been busy the past few years, extensively touring and perfecting their experimental pop aesthetic to a tee. Heat Waves, the debut LP by the northwestern trio, is set to be released tomorrow (via Tender Loving Empire) but we got the full stream a day early. Heat Waves is graced with production by the pop guru himself, Robby Moncrief, whom, is arguably the unsung hero behind Dirty Projectors’ Bitte Orce, Ganglians’ Still Living, and countless other pop jammers.
