OH MAN!!! I am really excited for this... Okay, story time...

Last year at SXSW I was asked to film the Dig For Fire SXSW lawn party, my personal favorite event at SXSW for the past couple years, and sadly it will not be taking place this year, but thats a whole other story... Janka Nabay played the small stage at high afternoon. Everyone was hot, drunk, tired and restless. Janka Nabay hops on stage with a huge smile starts jamming and dancing as if it was his last day on earth and nothing else in the world mattered. He would put down the mic periodically and just go dance with people in the crowd, throw in improvised lyrics, and basically turned the entire lawn at the French Legation Museum into one big smiling dance party. The video does the performance no justice at all as it one of those high energy performances you had to be there for... I was smiling the entire time and frequently had to remind myself that I was supposed to be filming rather than dancing... It was hands down one of my favorite performances I saw last year... It is rare that you witness a performance able to move an entire crowd and change the atmosphere of an entire outdoor event, but Janka Nabay has that ability.

On March 20th, True Panther Sounds will release Janka Nabay & The Bubu Gang's second EP “An Letah” (Pre order here) "Eh Mane Ah" is the first leak off "An Letah" ... Really looking forward to this...
